City Life Small Groups are the key way to get connected and be encouraged to grow spiritually here at City Church. We believe spiritual growth flows out of a commitment to God and the bible, but also through significant Christian relationships.
To help develop these significant relationships, we have created "City Life."
We believe so strongly in the importance of developing strong Christian relationships that it is our goal to have every member of our church involved in a City Life Small Group.
Thrive
Along with developing close Christian relationships, City Life is committed to helping the believer go deeper in the things of God through spirited, vibrant disucussion. These groups are sermon-based, which means that each group will discuss the sermon preached the Sunday prior. Each week we will answer questions from the discussion guide and use this as a springboard for our discussion. This puts the entire church on the same page so we are all learning the same concepts as a church body - we can grow "together" even as we meet in small groups!
Commitment
These home-based small groups require a ten-week commitment, and are comprised of 10-16 people. They meet weekly to share, to study God's Word and to support one another spiritually. The groups meet for three 10-week sessions from late September through June, taking a break during the summer months.
